Circular Area Tool
This tool is used to determinate an area in which an action is wanted to be performed. The way of working is very similar to Event Mark.
Circular Area Symbol
When the aircraft enter or leave of the circular area an event is triggered and it can be used to start a set of actions (start an automation).
To easy the understandig of the tool, we represents an example with the action Landing to flare.
Warning
Landing to flare is a maneuver made by an aircraft just before the touchdown. Consists on a rise of the nose to decelerate the descent rate and set a proper attitude before touching the ground, for more information go to Mision phases-flare
Following the same steps as in the Event Marks, to create a event:
In the next step we will click in Circular Area.
This automotion tool offers you define the circular area as:
Inside circular area: the event will be carried out when the aircraft enter in the circular area.
Outside circular area: the event will be carried out when the aircraft leave the circular area.
You have to add a name to the event created.
When the event is created, you have to click the right button over the area and choose Events > Name of the event, to link the circular area with the event.
