Users

From this section, it is possible to manage the accounts of current Veronte Cloud users. All users appearing in this interface belong to the same organization.

The User Panel is organized as follows:

  1. Search. Here it is possible to search for a user by its Username , Email or Name. Once the user search data has been entered, click Apply to start the search or Reset to remove the input data.

  2. New user. By clicking the button, new users can be added. To create a new user, the following information must be entered:

    • Create user account credentials, such as Name, Username, Password and Email.
    • Role of the user on the Veronte Cloud platform. For more information, see the Role - Account Settings section below.
    • To grant the user User manager status, i.e., permission to access this platform, check this box. For more information, see the User manager - Account Settings section below.

    Important

    After creating a new user, a verification email is sent to the email address provided. Open the message and click Click Here:

  3. Account Settings. Settings related to each user account are managed within this interface.

Below is the explanation of each interface option:

  1. More information: This option displays the information related to the user, including:

    1. Name: Name of the user.
    2. Verified User or User not verified.

      Note

      To become a Verified user, the email sent to the registration mailbox must be opened, and Click Here selected.

    3. User manager:

      • If User manager is green, users have access to this platform.
      • If User manager is red, the user has not access to this platform.
    4. Role of the user on the Veronte Cloud platform. For more information, see the Role explanation below.


  1. Index: Index of this account in the organization.
  2. Name: Name of the user. Chosen by the user.
  3. Email: Email of the user. Chosen by the user.
  4. Username: Chosen by the user.

  5. Role: Role of the user on the Veronte Cloud platform. Users are classified as Admin or Observer.

  6. Options:

    1. Assign apps: From this configuration parameter, the user assigns which applications can be downloaded from Veronte Toolbox application.

      To assign an application to the user account, check the designated box.

      • It is possible to search for a specific application via the Search bar.
      • By clicking Select all, it is possible to select all available apps at once.
      • Enabling the Full Suite option grants full access to the application suite.

        Note

        The applications that appear are those for which the user has a license.

    1. Assign components: This allows the user to be assigned components.

      The interface provides the option to Remove components or Search for additional components to assign to the user.

      Click to finalize the operation.

      Warning

      To assign a component to a user, it must be done from the Components panel and proceed in a similar manner by associating the user with the component.

    2. More options: By clicking here, a drop-down menu appears:

      • Edit: Name and Role of the user can be modified. In addition, the User manager option can be enabled or disabled.

      • Resend verification mail: Clicking this option will resend the account verification email to the user.

      • Reset password: This option allows the modification of the account password. To do so:

        1. Click Send confirmation code, then the following message will appear:

        2. The user will receive a mail with the confirmation code.

          Warning

          This code is valid for 10 minutes from the time it is sent.

        3. Enter the received code in Confirmation code.

        4. Enter a new password and re-enter it in Confirm password.
        5. Finally, click Reset.
