Connections to computer

In Veronte Autopilot REx, its three internal cores (Primary, Monitor and Recovery) are accessed through a shared Ethernet link, so only one connection to the computer is required.

The autopilot exposes duplicated I/O on two independent connectors, J1 and J2. Either connector can be used to reach the computer through the corresponding harness, and the Autopilot REx must be powered while it is being configured.

If there is any doubt about electrical connections, check the Connector J1 pinout and the Connector J2 pinout in this manual.

Important

Each internal core (Primary, Monitor and Recovery) will be identified by software applications as a different device, even though they share the same physical Ethernet connection.
